The 4400 is a science fiction show that aired on the USA Network from 2004 to 2007. The show focused on the sudden appearance of 4400 persons who had disappeared at different times since 1946. They returned suddenly in a beam of white light in Mount Rainier, Washington not having aged a day since their disappearance. Upon their return, some of the 4400 began to develop paranormal abilities such as telekinesis, premonition and other unique abilities. The National Threat Assessment Command (NTAC) was assigned to protecting and keeping an eye on the returning 4400.
The show ran for four seasons before it was canceled. The cancellation was blamed on budget cuts, the writer's strike and low ratings. The show starred Joel Gretsch (Joel Gretsch), Jacqueline McKenzie (Diana Skouris), and Patrick Flueger (Shawn Farrell).
