The Devil Came On Horseback - General Movies

The Devil Came on Horseback is a 2007 documentary feature by Anne Sundberg and Ricki Stren. The movie is about the Sudanese conflict and focuses on Darfur. It is based on a book by Brian Steidle, a Marine Captain enlisted as an observer for the African Union. The Arabic government is attempting to execute a plan to eliminate the black African citizens of the province. Steidle provides pictures and testimony from areas of the country that journalists had no access to, but Captain Steidle was allowed in as a military observer. After the tour Steidle travelled back to the United States to share the stories with the public.
