The film also stars Clotilde Hesme, Daniel Duval and Jeanne Goupil. It was written by Eric Guirado and Florence Vignon and was released by Film Movement on June 6, 2008 in the U.S. "The Grocer's Son" tells the story of 30-year-old Antoine Sforza, who moved to the city a decade earlier after leaving his village, but is drawn back to his hometown to take over his father's grocery store after he suffered a stroke. The movie grossed $264,889 domestically and star Nicolas Cazale was nominated in the Most Promising Actor category at the 2008 C\u00e9sar Awards in France.
