The New Adventures of Old Christine is a sitcom that premiered as a mid-season replacement on CBS in 2006.
The show follows 40-something Christine Campbell, a divorced mother of one, who tries to adjust to the single life. Things are complicated by her irresponsible ex-husband and his new younger girlfriend also named Christine, her live in brother, her son, and loud-mouth best friend. She tries to juggle life, work and romance with little success.
The show was a ratings winner from the beginning and continues to draw large audiences. The show also was said to brake the "
Seinfeld Curse" that seemed to have followed the cast from that extremely popular show.
