Thierry Mugler is a fashion design company named after its creator, Therry Mugler. The company is best known for its perfume division.
Originally trained as a ballet dancer, Mugler started his first fashion line in 1973, followed by a women's line in 1975 and a menswear line in 1979. His clothing during this time was said to be almost severe, angular, and echoing its time. In 1997, Mugler partnered with French cosmetics company Clarins, creating several popular fragrances including Angel, wildly popular in France, and A*Men.
