Third Watch - TV Dramas

John Wells and Edward Allen Bernero created the crime drama Third Watch which aired on NBC from September 23, 1999 until May 6, 2005 for a total of six seasons and 132 episodes. The show focuses on the police officers, paramedics and firefighters who work the 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm shift, known as the Third Watch. The show dealt with the fictional 55th precinct and Firestation 55. The show received positive critical reviews but also found some detractors who felt it was very violent. Nonetheless, many felt it was canceled too soon given the quality of the program.
