The Corolla is a compact car built by Toyota of Japan and first introduced in 1966. It is one of the most common vehicles found on roads and has the distinction of being the best selling nameplate in the world with 30 million sold as of 2008. Along with its sister car, the Camry, the Corolla continues the naming tradition of using the word Crown, in this case, Corolla coming from the Latin for “small crown.”

The Corolla is known as a modest, but reliable car with a reasonable resale value. The current generation is powered by a series of I4 engines through a manual or automatic transmission. With the exception of certain refinements and options such as a digital music player connector option, the overall trims vary by little in terms of performance.
