Toyota FJ Cruiser - General Automotive

The FJ Cruiser is a compact SUV built by Toyota of Japan and introduced as a concept car in 2003 but first sold in 2006. The retro-styling hearkens back to the Toyota FJ40 Cruiser of the 1960s. The car was not meant to be sold but enthusiastic consumer demand changed the minds of Toyota management.

Power is provided by a 4.0L V6 through a 5 speed automatic or 6 speed manual transmission. A full 4WD system is available as an option. Owing to the history of all-terrain vehicles, an all-terrain performance package is also available.
