The Land Cruiser, produced by
Toyota of Japan, is a series of 4WD vehicles, much in the tradition of the jeep. It comes in a variety of configurations ranging from a station wagon, convertible, or hardtop.
Toyota first introduced the line in 1954.
The current generation of Land Cruisers are powered by either a 4.7L V8, a 4.2L I6, or a 3.0L I4 through a 6
speed manual or 5
speed automatic transmission. Offroading technologies include Downhill Assist Control, a multi-terrain ABS system, and a Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System.
