The Sequoia is a full-size SUV manufactured by Toyota of Japan and first introduced in 2000. A model exclusive to the U.S. and Canada, it was awarded North American Truck of the Year upon its debut. It is the largest SUV in the Toyota fleet and can seat up to eight passengers. Power in the current generation is provided by either a 4.7L or 5.7L V8 through a 5 or 6 speed automatic transmission. It is considered more of a suburban vehicle as its off-roading capabilities are not on par with its Land Cruiser cousin.
