The Vancouver Canucks are a Western Conference, Northwest division NHL hockey team based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Founded in 1945 as part of the Pacific Coast Hockey League, they moved to the NHL in 1970. To date, they have won 5 division titles, 2 conference championships, but no Stanley Cups. Their home court is General Motors Place and the team’s current head coach is Alain Vigneault. The Canucks are owned by Francesco Aquilini. Minor league affiliates include the Manitoba Moose and the Victoria Salmon Kings.
