Victoria Beckham is commonly known for two things. First she was in the popular British girl band - the Spice Girls - in the mid-90s, where she was known as “Posh Spice”. Secondly, she is known as the wife of popular soccer star and international figure
David Beckham.
The Spice Girls were at the vanguard of a girl-power movement in popular culture. With members such as “Sporty Spice”, “Scary Spice”, “Baby Spice”, “Sexy Spice”, and “Posh Spice”, the band was prone to employ gimmicks and the music was secondary to the overall appearance of the group. However, with the Spice Girls, Victoria Beckham recorded such hits as “Wannabe” and “Spice Up Your Life”. The band became so popular that they even went on to star their own full-length feature film about the group, entitled Spice World.
After the Spice Girls separated in 2000 due to declining record sales, she went on to a less successful solo career. The band got back together in 2007.

David Beckham in 1997, and the couple married in 1999 and they now have three sons. The couple have had immense amounts of media exposure and have even had a several reality documentaries made chronicling their lives.
