First introduced in 1974, it is the company’s best- selling vehicle as well as the third best-selling car in the world as of 2007. Throughout the years, it has come in a variety of models ranging from a 3 door hatchback to a convertible. The Golf is currently in its 6th generation. It is designated Mk6.
