The V70 is a mid-size station wagon built by Volvo of Sweden. First introduced in 1996, it is similar in design to the S60, S70, and S80. Most V70s are sold in Europe and is also the best selling car in its home turf of Sweden. The V70 is currently in its third generational design phase.
Power is provided by a variety of engines ranging from 2.4 to 2.5L. Diesel options are optional as is a choice between automatic and manual transmissions. Safety features include airbags, a system to prevent whiplash in the event of a collision, a blind-spot sensor system, daytime running lights, stability and traction control.
