She started her own clothing design company over 25 years ago and now sells clothing to such retail giants such as Macy's and Nordstrom and smaller business such as boutiques. The creation of Weston Wear goes back to when Julie Weston was a child when she would sew anything and everything around the house.
It was during her college years that the revolutionary fabric, Cotton/LYCRA was invented and that is when she began designing clothes for the shoppers around San Francisco. She would throw "Weston Parties" and have friends come over to try on racks of clothes and even started taking special orders! Since the early days of Weston Wear, the company has evolved and grown and now sells clothes all over the United States and even Europe.
