Will Smith is an American actor and superstar who first shot to stardom on the television show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

His big break to film came in the late 90s when he appeared in such mega hits as Independence Day, Bad Boys, and Men in Black. He quickly became one of the highest paid and most powerful actors in Hollywood, appearing in one hit after the next. Other notable Will Smith credits include, Enemy of the State, Wild Wild West, Ali, The Legend of Bagger Vance, I, Robot, Shark Tale, Hitch, The Pursuit of Happyness, I Am Legend, Hancock, and Seven Pounds.

In the 80s, he pursued a rap career under the name the Fresh Prince, where he recorded such hits as “Parents Just Don’t Understand”. His musical career was revived in the 90s when the song “Men in Black”, produced for the movie of the same name, became a smash hit. Other Will Smith musical hits include “Getting’ Jiggy Wit It”, “Miami”, “Just the Two of Us”, “Big Willie Style”, “Wild Wild West”, “Nod Ya Head”, and “Switch”.

In his personal life, after a short marriage in 1992, he began dating actress Jada Pinkett. The couple married in 1997, and they have two children, Jaden Christopher Syre and Willow Camille Reign.

Jaden Smith has gone to an acting career as well, receiving acclaim and co-staring with his dad in the film The Pursuit of Happyness. He has also gone on to star in The Day the Earth Stood Still, and he will be appearing in the upcoming Karate Kid remake, which Will Smith will produce.
