Director Mike Nichols and screenwriters Jim Harrison and Wesley Strick gives a whole new spin to the werewolf movie in 1994's "Wolf". A man, played by Jack Nicholson, whose life is ruined after a younger man steals his job and his wife, gets the upper hand after being bitten by a wolf. Michelle Pfeiffer plays the boss' beautiful daughter and James Spader the double-crossing co-worker.
The film, produced by Douglas Wick, did not recoup its production costs of $70 million, earning only $65 million in US theatrical release, but did make $131 million worldwide. Nicholson, Pfeiffer and Richard Jenkins also co-starred together in 1987's "The Witches of Eastwick".
