Oliver Stone directed the 2006 movie World Trade Center. The screenplay of the movie was written by Andrea Berloff, based on the true story of 9/11 World Trade Center attack and Port Authority Police officers involved in the incidence. The movie stars Nicolas Cage, Maria Bello, Michael Pe\u00f1a and Maggie Gyllenhaal. The movie was produced by Moritz Borman, Debra Hill, Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher, and production company Paramount Pictures.
The movie was released on 9th August 2006 with budget of $63 million and box-office return of around $70 million. The real life William Jimeno, one of officers, also made several appearances in the movie.
