
Zach Braff (born April 6, 1975) is an actor, director, producer and screenwriter best known for his role as J.D. on the ABC comedy series
Scrubs.
Braff started as a man of the stage in New York City Public Theater's productions of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night and Macbeth. In 2001, he won the starring role of quirky doctor John "J.D." Dorian in
Scrubs, a role for which he won several award nominations. Braff's feature film, Garden State, which he wrote, directed, and starred in, premiered in 2004. Since, Braff has appeared in the comedy film Fast Track and has lent his voice to the children's film
Chicken Little.
Braff is rumored to be dating actress Shiri Appleby.
