
Zach Randolph started his NBA career in 2001 when he was drafted with the 19th pick by the
Portland Trail Blazers. Randolph was awarded with the "NBA Most Improved Player" title in 2003-04. He played for the
Portland Trail Blazers from 2001-2007. Then in 2007-08 season, he signed with the
New York Knicks. And subsequently in the 2008-09 season with the
Los Angeles Clippers. Randolph grew up in Marion, Indiana. As a senior in high school, he led his team to the state championships game where Marion High School won the state basketball championship for the seventh time. That year he came in second in the "Mr.Basketball" voting of Indiana, just behind Jared Jeffries, whom later became his teammates at the Knicks. Randolph plays at the power forward position.
