Last night our family went to watch the Angels play ball.
The game was so sad.
We watched them score nothing for so long.
The crowd cheered louder when the Laker's scores were up on the big score board than for anything the Angels did in the whole game.

Through the school that we home school through, we got discounted tickets to Knott's for the end of the year, to celebrate.
We chose to make it not only an end of the year celebration but also Belle and Michael Jr's birthdays, Father's Day and a Summer Fun day!!

My son's little dog that he rescued last summer was killed the other day.
It is the most random event too.
A raccoon, the size of a medium dog, came into our yard and stole our dog.
We do not live in an area that has raccoons, much less such large ones.

We had some unwanted visitors at our home all week last week.
I know the "welcome" sign is on the front door, but come on!!

The other day my son asked me on the way to school, if he could go to ice skating practice with me and watch Becca that afternoon.
My first thought is that something is wrong.

Forgive the messy house in the background,
this moment just makes me smile.
If I haven't mentioned, I am pretty sure I have found a new church for our family.
I will write about that later, but the part that makes me smile is right here.

We have the cutest shop out this way.
It is called Beary Basics.
They make dresses by hand here in the US.
I love that I can buy cute dresses made with love right here in my back yard.
Becca is like the perfect sales person too.
She tells everyone where you can get outfits just as cute as hers.

From all the construction going on over here the last 2 years, I found that I had lots of left over brochures and paint samples. I hate to throw things out and be wasteful.
So what do you do with tons of paint color cards?

For Mother's Day all I wanted was to get to church on time with as little grumbling as possible.

This so needed to be done!!!
After the house was stuccoed a few months ago, the painted wood on the house did not match any more. The stucco is not exactly the color I was expecting but it works. So now we needed the paint on the wood to match a bit better and work too.

I love Dollar Tree.
I bought the cheap bug bubble wand for a dollar, added some dish soap with water and got tons of fun for Becca and Belle.
Look at the bubbles they were making together.
Then they got creative.
