Linda G guessed a platypus which is a non marsupial native Aussie (a monotreme to be exact).

Now I feel really bad, I said this would be easy but no one and I mean no one has guessed!Kirsten guessed a Koala, but it isn't a Marsupial of any kind.
John guessed a mop, but it is definitely in the Animal Kingdom.

It has been mad, mad mad at work. Too much to do, not enough people to do it!

Well no one guessed what this image was. Some people got part marks for the power-line in the background. But no one guessed a statue! I suspected when I cropped this part of the Digger's leg (wrapped in puttees) that people might guess a palm or coconut palm. It does look something like a palm take... Comment - Like

If you walk from the centre of Melbourne into the Carlton Gardens you can wander through graceful avenues of elm trees. Then at the end of the avenue you notice there is a massive fountain. Well I said the last “What is it Wednesday” was too easy.
Myrna Foster hit it in one with “It looks like a rock. Is the orange part some kind of lichen?”.

Well, tonight I am home late from work thanks to meetings on the other side of the city. I'm supervising the roll-out of a state-wide program which is interesting but a headache at the same time.

Well that one wasn't too hard: four out of eight people who commented said water or ocean. Although some of those did have a bet either way :-)

A quick post about our pup Lilli.
Lilli continues to grow and is now getting close to adult size.One of her favourite things is the time almost everyday when we take her down to a local cricket ground so she can play with other dogs and chase her balls.

Well I'm on the way back computer-wise.
Unfortunately after spending about 20 hours reconfiguring my machine it blue-screened again with the same result - dead Windows. It was a little old so not easy to get new parts. I decided to pull the plug on it.

A bucket-head! Our beautiful pup Lilli is now 6 months old which means today she went to the vet to be spayed.
She was dropped early this morning and the girls picked her up this afternoon.
Our vet fits a smart collar to every pet they do surgery on.

I got home safe from Mum’s house late on Tuesday night.
I had a lovely time but all good things come to an end.

It feels like a conspiracy to keep me off the web. Last weekend it was the power going out. This week it is our phone/internet. Our landline phone was out for close to 48 hours. It wasn't just us, but the whole suburb, shops, medical centres. The works.

It is just over a month since I last posted about our puppy Lilli.
She is now just four months old and continues to grow like crazy. In a month she has gone from 10.1 kg (22.27 lbs) to 16 kg (35.2 lbs). She is losing the puppy cuteness and is starting to look like a gawky teenager.
