Islands released one of our favourite albums in 2006 and are are back with a new track off their forthcoming LP 'A sleep & A forgetting'. No catchy smart pop tune here this is just a beautiful ballad, enjoy.

Chicago duo Gauntlet hair have a new video and its full of Arnold Schwarzenegger clips, including commando! Thats not the best thing, its the music; wall of amazing echoing noise that contradicts their duo status.

Been listening to dirty beaches on and off lately but Altered Zones posted their favourite tracks of the year so far and this was one of them, and we agree; haunting, pretty but strangely dark, this track would be right at home in a david lynch scene.
