Can I be anymore polite? This is ridiculous, we've had like no snow this winter. It's has been the worst year for snow ever in Tahoe. Well, we made it to Furthur at Bethel Woods and that was a lot of fun. Definitely a much better attitude related to rocks with the Furthur kids than there was on Phish lot.

We had about a week in between Phish tour and their festival so we decided to go up to Herkimer to dig for some crystals. It's really cool mining for your own rocks. We spent the night last night in Waynesboro, VA at the Best Western. It was definitely the best hotel we have stayed at this summer. King size bed, comfy chairs and pillows, and a full hot breakfast downstairs. It was only about $20 more than we usually pay and it was well worth it.

We wrapped up a fun tour leg with a stop in Portsmouth, VA yesterday for Phish at the NTELOS Wireless Pavilion. It was only the 2nd or 3rd stop that let us in nice and early. We pulled in at about 1:30 and people were already setting up Easy Ups and claiming their spots.

We stopped into a Napa Auto Care center to get a couple things done. Our exhaust pipe, slid back or something because there is a gap in the piping before the catalytic converter so we were totally losing a bunch of power. Well, the tires were on their last leg. It was getting so bad we were wearing past the steel belts on the tires. There were bubbles starting to show up where the tire was so thin its not even holding its shape.

Flowski is a driving machine! After staying up till 2 in the morning the night before we left, he worked all day packing and getting stuff ready to go he didn't even get a nap and we left at about 10:30 at night Sunday night.

We left Tahoe last night at around 10:30 PM on our great summer adventure. Passed through Nevada without a hitch, and crossed the stateline to Utah right at about 7 AM.

Driving up to Sierra was exciting this morning because it was bluebird skies and lots of snow on the trees and rocks alongside Echo Pass.
