About Me

I created this blog to honor the artistic brilliance of jewelry designers. They are goldsmiths, metalworkers, and sculptors. Whether it's high-end, costume or vintage, they do what they do because they love what they do. My desire is to share my appreciation with others who are jewelry enthusiasts. Along with the legends Louis Cartier and Louis-Ulysse Chopard, I want to highlight individuals from around the world whose names are not as well known.

NEW SIDEBAR FEATURES!

Check out sidebar features on my blog. There is GLOBAL DESIGNS listing various locations of jewelry designers by country, including India, Scotland, Mexico and the United States of America. Take your pick and then click.

If you ever wondered who designed the lovely baubles you saw in a feature film or television show, take a peek at the sidebar feature DESIGNS ON HOLLYWOOD. Click on the title of a film or t.v. series and you will be taken to an article on the designer who created the jewelry.

There is GEMSTONES OF THE MONTH with links to all my articles featuring properties and some trivia on these lovely minerals. You will also find what I call SPLENDOR SIDEBAR, which covers miscellaneous jewelry topics.

There are QUOTABLE GEMS featuring funny, thoughtful and `I didn't know he/she said that' quotes from a list of famous people.

Lastly, leave a message at the SPLENDOR SHOUTOUT. It would be great hearing from you. Enjoy your stay.
