Im overwhelmed at reading this but... I have to realize this is not my culture. My mom said that when she was in high school that 30 percent of the graduating class was either engaged or married and some of the married had children. Back then if you were pregnant, you were married. no discussion. My mom was married after college and she was called an old maid by 23. So of course my mom thinks that the present Amercian culture is heathanistic and out of control. Anywho, I will try not to judge. The year of consent in bulgaria is pretty young too. who can make major decisions at 14. Since he loves her and want to marry her they should not put him in jail and consent to the marriage. Who else will care for that girl and baby. I dont know. the story is too much for me.

Just to add in my moms younger day everyone was pretty much married and on their first child by 18. Getting pregnant before marriage was very rare.
