It was five years ago that I attended services for Thomas Sunday at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, which was a day that brought me back to my faith, expanded my understanding of the Church, and put so much of my understanding of life into a more proper perspective.

I was carrying my recyclables out to the recycling bin after shredding bills and receipts before I carried the garbage from my kitchen to the "herby curby" in the garage when it occurred to me that I'm spending an awful lot of time managing my trash.
