My quilt for the Quilt Festival in Wilwerwiltz (Luxembourg) is finished.
I will show you some details, can show you the entire quilt only after this exhibition.
All the stones and monuments are embroydered freehand on a piece of fabric with
batting fused behind. Then I cut out all the pieces , fused... Comment - Like

I'm a member of some german-speaking yahoo quilting groups and today
a member of the group "Patchwork leicht gemacht" told us about her idea to
recycle all the old ties she had collected.
Heidi cut the ties and made small little bags out of them.
I had to give it a try, here you can see the results.... Comment - Like

I had a free-hand quilting workshop in one of the most
beautiful regions of our country "Kiischpelt".
Here you can see the first steps on the sewing machines

Here I am again....Hotel Laudinella, St Moritz, Switzerland.
A whole week of sewing. The theme this year for my class is
old linen .
It was a beautiful week with many lovely people, beautiful weather, super food...hmmm and

cut 1 piece of fabric for the outside,
cut 1 piece for the inside
and finally 1 piece of batting (thermolam)
