About Me
I am grateful to find this site and all the wonderful bloggers here.
I live in Iowa with my 2 teenage children- a daughter, 19, and son, 15. They are my world, but recently I decided to begin something new.
I don't have much experience blogging, but I've been an avid journaller for most of my life. I was also blessed with a gift, in fact, both my son and I are blessed with the gift of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). Did you know ADD is a gift? Do you, or someone close to you, have ADD or ADHD?
A few weeks ago I was reading in one of the ADD forums I frequent, and that's when it struck me. Many people with ADD don't recognize the gift they've been blessed with. Don't get me wrong, I know there are somethings many ADDers find challenging - like organization, time management, getting distracted - things like that.
One thing that's allowed me to see my ADD gifts and deal with my challenges is keeping a journal. And I don't mean just writing down what you did that day. I actually use some special journaling tools that are very powerful.
I am going to share my special journaling tools with everyone on my new blog, "ADD Success Talk." I can't wait to get started and I do hope you will join me on this inner journey of journaling your way to success with your gift of ADD.
I hope to see you there!
