Over the years it has been documented;...Left handed hitters can't hit left handed pitchers! That kind of thinking is wrong, it should be; "Most left handed hitters have trouble with a lefty pitcher!"

I saw a few things with Joba and his troubles;
1-Opens up (as has been said) to early
2-He has a big tell (his lead shoulder) not all the time but, enough (check it out, maybe I am wrong...I hope)
3-He will not pitch inside with the FB

Someone made a comment about the catcher of the Rays being a dirty player because of what he did...block the plate.

I am sure Brett will be a very dependable LF or CF player for the Yanks this year. If one looks at the history of his movement through A, AA, AAA, Yankees, one will see he aways has trouble the first few weeks/months. After the adjustment time he comes on stronger. Z-Mac is not a strike-out pitcher and I would not want him to be one.
Set-up guys like him, come in at the start of an inning or to get a double play, soft fly...in other words; use him as he is and for what he has.Not all starters can become BP pitchers, FACT! If he can handle the big league hitter... Comment - Like

This guy was the second coming, at one time...now, not so much.
His swing has gotten long and loopy, he strikes out a lot. I do believe some of this can be worked on and corrected. Defensively he is good and smooth, covers a lot of ground with a strong arm.

What is there to say about this guy except, he is knocking the stuffing out of the ball at SIY.
One thing to keep in mind with his hitting, he is a collage guy (22 yrs old) hitting against high school kids (sometimes).
His numbers are great against RH pitchers but, the left fielder has a tough time ... Comment - Like

Last year I had him as a player to watch, he hasn't proved me wrong. The only knock has been his hitting power and his footwork behind the plate...people, he has improved very well.
There was a reporter (I think) saying, he didn't think Romine was consistent enough (something to that effect)...news ... Comment - Like

Some day I may understand why some fans denigrate a player with the skills of Brett Gardner? The only thing he can't do well is, hit with HR power. He and Melky (if they continue as is) make a very nice combination for the team, I had (have) my doubts of Melky but, as of now...both are good for this... Comment - Like

Another TJ victim, that needs time to heal and build his arm up.
This guy could be one of the best pitchers to come down the pike in many years. The sad part of it is...he could also be one of the biggest flops but, I don't see that happening (baring injury).
