Since the quilt I wanted to use for this bedroom is for a single bed, I thought I would add a lacey border to lengthen the hem and add more character to the quilt. The farm in the background sits on the edge of a Lake called Speedwell. The lake is in trouble and is in need of repairs to the tune of 6.43 million dollars and the budget currently does not have that much money. So it is being drained. The above picture was taken this past spring.
