About Me
I’m an author, mommy, American Pop Culture Critic, and Humorist. Being a mom is the most rewarding and fulfilling role I’ve ever held in this life and it just keeps on giving! I can be described as an overall artist. I'm a comedian, actor, and voice-over talent. I have played roles in a few movies, done some radio and TV commercials, worked on the air on radio, and hosted a television talk show.
Since I was old enough to pick up an ink pen, I have been in love with writing. This unquenchable romance that I share with writing deeply ingrained in who I am. Poetry was, in fact, my first love. I am a playwright, author, and editor. My books include, My Soliloquy and Mojo Woman: A Conjuring of Poems. Poems and short stories that authored have also been published in various anthologies. Previously, I have written a pop culture column called “My Spirit’s Keeper” for Take Five Magazine, The St. Louis American Newspaper, Intermission Magazine, and Quest Magazine, where I also worked as editor.
In my spare time, I love to read, write poetry, spend time with family and friends, go to plays, listen to all sorts of music, and so much more! I enjoy blogging engaging in a healthy, intellectual debate.
You can read my column, "The Music Word,” at 411mania.com each Wednesday and on Blog Critics Magazine. My writer’s page with my articles on Blog Critic’s Magazine may be viewed here. Also, please visit my blog, Enspyre 1 American Pop Culture Blog, sign up for a free subscription, and leave me a comment. I love connecting with new and interesting people. If you have a blog, I’ll do the same for you and perhaps even write a review of it!
