Mojdeh is an Afro-Persian powerhouse of delight! Eco-warrior & business owner by day, & rock star & performance poet by night; her mission is to utilize her creativity & energy as a vessel for contributing to community endeavors. Mojdeh is a 4x award winning poet & the president of Lethal Poetry Inc. (www.lethalpoetry.com). She's had the delight of accepting invitations to open for Columbia Record's soul performer John Legend, has performed with Paris Delane (formerly of Sonia Dada (www.soniadada.com) & has done voice over work for Chicago Public Radio. Mojdeh's piece, "Isn't It" (a collaboration w/Laura Pawson), has been aired regularly on Vocalo (89.5FM) since summer 2008. She is a graduate from the School of the Art Insitute of Chicago (BFA) and is considering continuing her education. She believes that her drive for learning will always inform and affect her creative practice as well as the community around her!
