Who told you that we are in a Post Racial Society? Or did you determine that we are in a post racial society when a black man was elected as president? We are not in a post racial society. There is just as much racism today as there was during the Jim Crow days and earlier. The only thing now is that it’s more covert in some areas, depending on what race is the minority in a particular area. Let me explain, in an area where the dominant race is white and the minority is black, Hispanic or whatever, racism will be bolder and overt. It’s just depends on the dominate race. Racism is ugly, it stinks and it’s very unfair, but it’s here, it always has and always will be. I feel that racism exercised by African Americans is done based on anger at the history of racism. It doesn’t make it right, but it gives an explanation to answer the why questions asked by the Caucasian race.
