I lost my old blog layout?  I guess it changed to one of the new standard Blogger Design Interfaces somehow? I must note that I have always found that Blogger is NOT user friendly to me. You Can't Rush Scale Modeling

Sitting On A Shelf: Usually I work on several scale models/dioramas at once. An unfinished model can sit on a shelf for quite a while, before I say "time to finish this one"; or "good, I've found the perfect figures or model base." Sometimes I think it's done, but letting it sit usually gives me add...

About Me

Hey everyone! My name is Murray (aka 'surf-the-arts'). I look forward to getting to know you!

I grew up in Toronto, attended art schools and worked for major graphic design studios for 30+ years. I spent 13 years in Hawaii doing fine art paintings and I was a past president of AHA (The Association of Hawaii Artists). I now reside in the 'Hawaii of Canada' - the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. I paint, create custom diorama scale models, collect Soda Cans and Japanese Bottle Cap Figure Sets, and write a blog called "Surf - Design Planet". I also love designer toys, cool trends, and bicycles and their design.
Take care, ...Regards Murray!
