Basics.

I was born and raised in the beautiful 'Pearl of the Orient Seas', Philippines. Together with my parents and 2 siblings, we migrated to the states on December 1996. Presently living in Los Angeles via Westland, Michigan where I lived for 9 years.

Blogging.

I was introduced to the 'blogosphere' two years ago by my partner Matt. Who happens to be my webmaster and developer. I'm truly grateful for his support.

Concept to Reality:

I admire the passion and creativity designers devote to their creations. But when they let ugly or over-priced so called fashion walk down the runway or end up in department store racks, it seems to me they are just trying to see what they can get away with. That makes me angry!

So I decided to voice my concerns through blogging. That's how "The Smart Stylist" came about. A blog about fashion trends and styles for everyone. Simply, 'Fashion Without Prejudice'. Designer brands and labels can only take you so far, at the end of the day it is US who makes fashion happen not the other way around.
