Every now and then a work will that come along that completely defines the generation and culture from when it came... and THE BEAUTY CONTEST (1936), with libretto by Theodosia Paynter and music by G.A. The Novels
This is where the long story arcs will be posted. Check the intro post there to see how things will be working.
And because of this, the episodes here for the Beach Trip will all be moving there, so I can work on it separate from the cartoon strip here.

This is running way longer than I expected, but now that Im this deep into the storyline, I really want to finish it. As such, we'll be mixing it with some single-day cartoons so you guys get some variety. Hope that works for everyone?

My Canadian readers will know immediately who this guy is — a true gem of a man, of a national leader, of a Canadian, of a human being. Were that more like him...
So here's our condolences to his partner Olivia. Jack was a very special person, ma'am, and he will be very much missed.
