Today on our way to Santa Barbara, we saw a wildfire off the side of the US 101 North. We could see the smoke for about 5 miles before the actual fire. There were many emergency vehicles that passed on the shoulder before we could actually see the fire.

It's sad to see the holidays end. Taking down the decorations inside is one thing, but when the lights go out in the neighborhood its a very sad and uninspiring night drive through the neighborhood. It took us a week and a half to put everything up and it was all down in 4 days.
