What is a Bhikkhu and a temple doing opening a zoo and keeping animals as pets.. the purpose of ordination is to work to release oneself from the kilesas (cravings) and to not be involved in the ways of the world.. seek solitude, etc. Not to make websites and advertize and invite tourists to come and play with the animals. Buddhist monks should also not rear animals.

I wonder what the temple dogs look like.. in almost every temple in Thailand poor scabby ill dogs lurk around and the temples forbing you to help them saying it is their karma and that they were once temple theives. i bet the temple dogs look terrible because dogs dont bring in money and tourists.. gosh shocking! Buddhist temple becomes a theme part.. are they installing a rollercoaster too?
