The future is green! Any car manufacturer that doesn't go green will disappear in ten or more years. History is littered with car makers who didn't keep up with innovation (just look at the UK car industry!). So, expect more cars like this and with the costs of manufacturing coming down over time and the price of fossil-based fuels going up all the time, its inevitable that green will triumph.

Human Rights in the Middle East: Why US Voices Matter

Human Rights are a universal principle, which means no one country has a monopoly on what constitutes a 'human right'. The UN Declaration on Human Rights is the definitive document and many nations were part of framing it. So, the US has every right to speak out on the issue but its a two way street and others can rightly hold it to account for its own failings in this area. After all, there is no perfect country (except perhaps an uninhabited desert island!) - otherwise we would all move there!

I have been a Mac user since 1992 (though I didn’t own one until 1995 – I was an Amiga owner, an A500). It was whilst working at Oasis Trust that I first fell in love with them, We had several Macs as they allowed us to do our own DTP. That was the real ‘killer app’
