1. start saving a fixed amount of money every month (i practiced this for many years in australia but never got down to doing it ever since i started work a few months ago in singapore. not healthy!)
2. print and bind hard-covered copies of my final thesis

i handed in my thesis at the end of jan, got it back sometime in june and 7 months later, i’ve re-submitted it with revisions done.
