I attended the University of California at Berkeley and also studied art and architecture in Florence, Italy. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in architecture from UC, I returned to Italy to pursue graduate studies in Cortona. I have a Master of Fine Arts degree in interior design from the University of Georgia in Athens. As a graduate assistant at UGA, I taught furniture design, colour and materials, and architectural graphics. Special studies included fabric and furniture design, papermaking, bookbinding, and the history of Twentieth Century photography.

My interior design work includes restaurants, medical, law and executive offices, retail spaces, continuing care facilities,staging yachts and town homes. My photography is on permanent exhibit in several galleries in the United States. My design work, photography, and writing has been published in books and national magazines.
