There are many tiny frogs living in the bushes in front of my home. They all have wonderful BIG voices and sing frequently. I felt lucky to have captured one with my camera as they can disappear incredibly quickly. Here’s a graphite pencil drawing of one of the little critters.

I’ve just released a limited edition print of an ink drawing I did on the day John Lennon was shot and killed, December 8, 1980. There are only 300 of these now 30 year old 18″ x 24″ (approx.) prints left.

Here’s a graphite pencil drawing of brilliant red and yellow pansies growing in my flower box. They are one of the earliest flowers to bloom in the spring here in the Pacific Northwest. I have been working on creating a raised garden bed for the last two weeks solely for the purpose of planting tomatoes! Now that spring is here, I’m back to doing flower drawings! Here is a single rose graphite pencil drawing done from one of many photos of the yellow roses in my front yard. It’s too early for them to be blooming this year, but it won’t be long now. Yipee!

The Columbine flower is the state flower of Colorado. It’s a wildflower that grows in temperate climates. Here’s a graphite pencil drawing of this delicate and gorgeous flower. Can hardly wait for them to bloom again this year.

I heard on the news last week that the Woodland Park Zoo’s male Sumatrin tiger is ill with cancer. They’ll put him through chemo, but…….no guarantees. Other than that, all they can do is “make him comfy”. Geesh. I guess the good news is one of his lady friends is pregnant with (at least)... Comment - Like
