As I mentioned the other day, I went to Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago on a business trip. We got there Monday afternoon and left Friday morning. The conference was Tuesday-Thursday but we took some time in the evenings and in our spare time during the day to explore the city.

We have so much to be thankful for in the US. We are free to speak our minds, worship God (or whomever/whatever or nothing at all), and vote for our leaders. While the US may not be perfect, we have it quite a bit better than most of the world.

October has both my sister Shelby’s and my dad’s birthdays.
Shelby turned 18 on the 17th. My youngest sister is actually 18. That’s crazy! We had a party for her at my parents’ house. It included pizza they had delivered all the way from Gino’s East in Chicago. Yummy!

On Saturday, Sept 18, Arkansas sent its second Honor Flight to Washington DC to visit the memorials dedicated to honoring their service. Around 80 WWII veterans left northwest Arkansas bound for DC around 6:30 am. They arrived back to the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) around 8:30pm... Comment - Like

I have a robin’s nest in a bush in front of my garage.
