Foreflight has issued some cautions (http://blog.foreflight.com/2011/10/14/flying-with-foreflight-and-ios-5/) about using the new IOS5 on your iPad or iPhone.

Georgia was hospitalized four time in August and September for gastric pain. It appears the gastric bypass hasn't fully solved her problem. Right now she has a tube in the bypassed portion of her stomach that comes out through her abdomen. It is there so a gastroenterologist can do an ERCP and look ... Comment - Like

If you can get The Flightline TV show in your area, I highly recommend watching it. Hosts Mark DeJoy and Paul Jackson do a great job of presenting a wide variety of aviation stories. Our weekend getaway this time was to Madison, Wisconsin. It is only a two hour drive from home but we decided to stay up there Friday and Saturday night. That way we could drive up after work on Friday and make a leisurely start on Saturday morning when our plan was to visit the Henry Vilas Zoo.

On Tuesday, July 5th, Georgia had her gastric bypass surgery at St Alexius Hospital. It was scheduled for 10:30 AM but the doctor was behind so she didn't get into the operating room until after noon. My Tiet MyClip Thigh kneeboard arrived on Saturday and I am an instant fan. The compact MyClip takes up very little space in my flight bag.
