I grew up in a small midwestern town. My trumpet was like my right arm. Earned trumpet scholarship to DePauw University. Realized I couldn’t play like I envisioned in my head. Transferred to Kent State and graduated with Journalism degree. Moved to New York City after college. Interned at Epic Records. Couldn’t live with regret so didn’t pursue a day job in the music industry. Worked at Columbia University for two years. Quit and donated suits to Goodwill. Learned guitar. Pursued career in Hip-Hop/R&B production with brother. Worked with incredible artists like Alicia Keys and Shelby J (Prince). Took a break and began to paint. Fell in love with art as form of expression…telling universal stories with my oil pastels . Shifted gears to acoustic folk singing and songwriting. Here I AM.
