On Saturdays, the kennel closes to the public at 11AM, so we get there as early as possible. Today, we got there just before 9AM. I used to spend my birthday at The Oyster Festival in Norwalk. The first year that I did that (I was turning 19, I think), there was a kick-butt local blues band playing. They played Feelin' Alright, and they played it really well. I loved it so much that it became "my birthday song".

The three women I knew best:My mother, her mother, and her sister, my Auntie V, were all good with needlework. My mother sewed things like curtains, pillows and bed clothes (she sewed clothes, too, but she didn’t really like to). My grandmother crocheted and embroidered. Auntie V could do it... Comment - Like

One of the nicest things about The Sam’s temporary digs is that there is a fenced-in outdoor area with plenty of grasses and a bush. We are able to take the big kitty out there for supervised walks. The Sam hasn’t had many outdoor experiences, especially since he had to have all of his teeth rem... Comment - Like
