January has been a long long month when it comes to waiting for Payday to arrive, last got paid around the 20th Dec, so have for the past week been surviving on savings in the bank and Mel’s weekly pay-packet.

As you may have seen from an earlier post, we had our gas cut off by National Grid while we were on holiday, they were installing new pipework in the street and to the adjoining houses.

that British Gas are doing work on our road and needed access to the house while we were away to change our gas meter, so where now without gas until Monday/Tuesday, so gonna be a cold couple of days

After a six hour drive we’ve arrived at this years Autumn holiday destination, a lovely set of cottages at Little East Underdown in Devon.
The cottage were staying at is part of a barn conversion, it’s situated within Dartmoor National Park, so I’m expecting to at least get some good walking ... Comment - Like

Yesterday was a long long long day for me, it all started at 6:30am when I got my very weary bones out of bed (foolishly I’d stayed up till 2:00am playing Battlefield 2), the reason for such an early start was to get myself to the Trafford Centre for the Launch of the iPad 2 in the UK.

queuing up at the Apple Store to get my hands on an iPad 2 . . so expect to see me in the Trafford Centre from about 7:00am through till 5:00pm when it officially goes on sale to the general public.

Well just spent an afternoon at National Tyres and Autocare Centre having my car put through its MOT . . the result of which was a £310 bill

till my holidays in april . . thanks to Will’s and Kate I’m having an extended break away from work and only using about 6 days holidays to have 2 weeks away from work, which is pretty neat them getting married around a normal Bank Holiday, thus giving us an extra day off, thank to both of you... Well it’s been nearly 2 months since Blue went in for her cruciate ligament surgery, the first 4 weeks were the hardest time for both her and us.

Just to update you all Blue was dropped off this morning at 8:00am at NorthWest Surgeons and had her surgery around lunch time, she came round shortly afterwards.

at BMTEC this morning, informed them that the nice AA man said it was porbably the Crankshaft Sensor that had gone haywire.
After telling Andy this and describing what had been happening to the car i.e. drive for about 20 mins and then the engine cuts out, try to restart and it turns over, but the ... Comment - Like

Yep if it is’nt one thing its another, on the way to work today my engine cut out on me, luckily I had enough speed built up to allow me to cruise to the curb, where I attempted to start the engine again, but alas nothing happend the starter motor turned, but the engine just would’nt fire up, so...
