It is sad and unfortunate that police officers have an automatic stigma attached to their career. I get to meet a lot of police officers doing what I do and it is sad that the community doesn't appreciate them enough. This blog is great because it shows that cops are human too, and they have to deal with a dangerous job while dealing with the media and how they spin stories just to make it juicy. Great blog.

Though I may not agree with every article, the thought provoking topics are interesting to read and tend to target the next generation of political involvement, which neither political platform can claim. The American Boy reminds us that it is not about Democrats or Republicans, but issues.
