Enjoy reading this blog. Lola is clever, witty, but most of all, insightful. She is so inspirational that I have found myself sometimes asking "What would Lola do?"
I was led to believe that there was nothing at all funny about eating-disorders until I began reading Lola's blog. Every post quivers with humour and wit - no matter how gruelling, how embarassing nor how painfully sad the experience being told.
Her narrative style is personal and engaging. She takes you on an itimate tour through her day-to-day life - its ordinary surprises, its hilarious highs and its crushing dissappointments. Mercifully she has a knack for gracefuly delivering us safely back home - frequently chucking, always smiling. Warm, spirited and tough - Marine Snow is a daily joy!
Lola writes a refreshingly comical blog about her recovery from ED. She has a great writing style and is entertaining, yet informative. You really get a sense of what it's like to struggle with an eating disorder. She offers advice to others who may be also be embarking on the road to recovery, whilst remaining upbeat and lighthearted about her own endeavours. A must read for anyone touched by an eating disorder or mental illness!
I love this blog. It is always exciting to see what Lola has been up to as she has a wonderful sense of humour. There is also the serious flip-side of this blog and behind all the humour there is a deep insightful look into the world of living with an eating disorder. Entertaining and educational and real what more could you want from a blog?
Lola Snow- where to start, not only does she have a fantastic name, she also writes incredibly well. Her blog encompases the funny, difficult, and dark times. Ive been following Lola since the beginning, and so should everyone else.
Lola's blog is fantastic. She's an amazing writer, and manages to convery deep emotions and struggles at the same time as being incredibly funny. It's an absolute must for me.
Lola writes from a very personal place, sharing the details from her life most of us would rather see go to cob webs. Her writing is topical, to the point, and witty. In addition, she spices it up by adding posts from others in the blog community, exposing the reader to other blogs that may be of benefit.
